Fake news, rumours, alternative facts… These are just some of the ways in which we refer to the various phenomena that have become commonplace in the so-called “post-truth” era, characterised by a proliferation of sources of information. If rumours are not a recent phenomenon, it is difficult to deny that, thanks to the Internet, they are created and widespread following new ways and modalities.
The aim of this conference is to analyse misinformation in a linguistic perspective. Multidisciplinary approaches will be particularly appreciated. Languages of the conference: French, English, Italian.
The inscription to the conference is free and the participation of PhD students and young researchers is particularly appreciated.
